Erik-Gator is a phenomenal barber. He’s been cutting my hair for years, and I’ve followed him to every barbershop he’s worked at, that’s how good he is. I’ve never had a bad haircut, not even a “just okay” one. Every cut is on point, every single time. He also cuts my son’s hair and is always amazing with him. On top of the skill, he brings great conversation, plenty of laughs, and genuinely good energy. At this point, he’s more than just my barber, I consider him a good friend. If I could leave 10 stars I would. Highly recommend.

Erik/Gator!!!! He's so good at cutting the hair and a super chill conversationalist. Can't imagine what else you would want in a barber! I haven't gotten my mane worked on by any of the other folks there, but the shop is nice and the vibes are good. You should check it out!

I recently went in for a second cut with Jandro, and am so pleased and happy with the outcome. I have wavier short hair and wanted to add layers, bangs, and an undercut. Each time, Jandro listened and was patient and kind in helping to realize my mismatched ideas for a cut and made it exactly what I wanted. I also really appreciated that he let me just be quiet and not force conversation. Jandro is awesome and I would highly recommend him and this shop, very welcoming and inclusive.

I absolutely love Take Pride Barbershop The owner Kenzy has been working with me since 2008 I watched her thrive at other shops until she opened her own shop the atmosphere is very inviting the people are so welcoming I can’t imagine going to get a better haircut or color from anyone else. Kenzy went above and beyond when I was going through cancer treatment she even found a bleach that didn’t hurt my sensitive scalp. I absolutely don’t think any other hair dresser would ever be so attentive to me and my skin if google would let me I would give this place a 10 star review

I have been looking for a new barbershop since my current barber moved to Hawaii. I was literally about to buzz my head until my wife sent me this place. So I decided to check it out yesterday and really loved it. The shop it's self is super cool with art all over the walls, big TV, cool music, and drinks(including beer)/snack you can grab while you wait. It was super inviting when I walked in, and other people came in while I was getting cut. Loved that it felt super inclusive! Alejandro was super nice and did a killer job on listening to my rambling about what I wanted and actually turning it into exactly what I wanted. Super happy with my cut and he did an amazing job on my fade. All in all I will be back for sure! Note it is cash only but they have atm on site. Update: Took my 7 year old here today and the barber did amazing! Kiddo was hesitant about cutting hair but they talked them into just doing some clean up. They sat really well and was chatting, looked like such an adult. Plus the shop dog Razor was so sweet!
